Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, also known as Pura Ulun Danu Beratan, is one of the most iconic and beautiful temples in Bali. The temple is located on the shores of Lake Beratan in the cool mountain area of Bedugul, Tabanan Regency. Built in the 17th century, the temple is dedicated to Dewi Danu, the Balinese goddess of lakes and water. The temple appears to “float” on the lake when the water level rises, creating one of Bali’s most famous postcard views.
